Our Story

From Small Beginnings …

Kidz 1st Day Nursery was established by a mother and son team passionate about helping the community. Together, they have a combined experience of over 30 years supporting families with children with special needs.

In the late 2000s, their extensive work with local families led them to sympathise with parents’ struggles to access high quality childcare that caters to all needs. Thus, in 2010, they opened the doors to Kidz 1st Day Nursery, a childcare setting that looked at each child individually and focused in on what would help them develop and thrive.



Since then, Kidz 1st has grown in leaps and bounds, attracting equally passionate staff who add their wealth of experience (and their big hearts) to the setting. Kidz 1st has nurtured hundreds of children from their earliest months all the way up to their first day of “Big School”, supporting families along the way to access every advantage within its reach to help their children succeed.
